During the August 17 school board meeting, the Frenship ISD Board of Trustees approved an order calling for a bond election on November 3, 2020. The bond election was previously scheduled for May but was postponed due to COVID-19.

Out of 60 school districts across the South Plains, Frenship ISD is proud to announce two Frenship teachers, Haley Kirk and Ida Cisneros, have earned both the Region 17 Elementary Teacher of the Year and the Region 17 Secondary Teacher of the Year awards for 2021.

Frenship Middle School has a new Assistant Principal this year, Rebecca Whipkey. She made the transition to her new role from her position as an Instructional Math Coach for FMS and Terra Vista Middle School.

As Frenship ISD prepares for the upcoming school year, providing the cleanest environment for students, teachers and staff is top priority.

Starting August 11 at 8 a.m., parents will be able to view their student's class schedule or teacher assignments.

On June 15, the Frenship ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to appoint Andrew Cox as the newest school board member. Cox fills the Place 2 vacancy on the board after the resignation of Brandon Autrey earlier this month.
