Hi! My name is Rebecca Gonzales, and I currently teach 8th grade Spanish 1 and ESL. I provide targeted English instruction for my EB (emergent bilingual) students. I also have the privilege of teaching young minds how to write, read, listen to, and speak the Spanish language along with learning all about the many customs and traditions practiced in different Spanish speaking countries.
I was raised in the Rio Grande Valley, and I graduated from the University of Texas at Brownsville. Although I'm a product of the UT system, I'm a huge Texas Tech Red Raider and Lady Raider fan!!!
I have worked in education many years, and I have taught 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade students in various districts. I can honestly say that Frenship ISD, by far, is the best district I have ever been a part of. I'm blessed to work with the best at Frenship Middle School!
