Hello! I'm Andrea Murray, one of the 8th grade US History teachers at Frenship Middle School, and I am SO excited to be here!!  This is my 23rd year of teaching overall and my first at FMS. I previously taught at Running Brushy Middle School in Leander ISD in Cedar Park, Grape Creek Elementary in Grape Creek, TX and Giddens Elementary in Leander ISD. I've also had the amazing opportunity to teach at an international school for two years in Botswana, Africa. I always love sharing stories and pictures from this experience with my students. What an incredible time it was!

I have a passion for teaching in general, with a special love for teaching History. I also have a great love for helping my students learn valuable life skills and character traits. Additionally, I absolutely LOVE watching my students shine in all of the various extra curricular activities they are involved in with their talents on full display. Cheering them on is one of favorite things to do in life!!

8th grade is such a blast and will hopefully be a favorite year for my students, full of fantastic adventures and wonderful memory-making moments! I hope you will find this website a helpful resource for you. I'm so excited to be on this adventure with you all!!🤗
