Hello, my name is Susan Bennett.  I am very excited and honored to serve as a 6th and 7th grade Science teacher this year.  I graduated from Shallowater High School and then following I attended South Plains College and finished at Lubbock Christian University where I obtained my bachelor's degree in education.

 

I have lived in west Texas all of my life and love the community.  I have spent 16 years in the education field teaching math and then finding my passion in science. I have a wonder husband, Todd Bennett and two amazing sons, Cory and Shane.  I have also been blessed with 4 grandchildren.

 

I am looking forward to meeting your children this year. This will be a great year in science to be a Tiger.  The staff and has been a blessing to me and I know the students will have a great year. Every student deserves a positive and caring environment to learn and be successful in every day. We focus on character and teaching our student to Serve, Smile, Engage, Respect, Volunteer and Encourage other students.
