With the addition of the program and two new wrestling teams for both boys and girls, FHS will have 20 athletic programs for students to participate next year.

Frenship High School has arranged scheduling meetings for all current eighth grade students and parents to help make the transition to ninth grade as smooth as possible.

In an effort to raise money for the annual U Can Share Drive, the tennis team was challenged by coach Kelly Reid to donate food and money for the South Plains Food Bank, which resulted in a doubles tennis match between the students, Reid and FMS Principal Jerry Jerabek as a reward for participants.

Monday night during their monthly meeting, the Frenship ISD Board of Trustees appointed Brandon Autrey to fill the current vacancy on the board left after the resignation of Troy Vanderburg in October.

Saturday, January 6th marked the beginning of Frenship High School’s robotics season.

The Frenship ISD Board of Trustees extended congratulations to various Frenship High School athletes and coaches for their successes both on the courts and in the classrooms.

Congratulations to all of the Frenship FFA students who participated in the Frenship Stock Show last Saturday, January 6 at the Show Barn. The local show is the first competition for these students this spring.

The whole campus visited Alamo Drafthouse Thursday (Dec. 14) to see the new, inspiring film “Wonder,” after reading The New York Times bestseller and are now applying the themes in and outside of the classroom.
