The Frenship High School CTE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program students created the Tiger Meadows Senior Living and Nursing Rehabilitation Center in their hallway and classroom.

This week Frenship students, along with the Rotary Club of Lubbock and several other community business partners, filled backpacks with food for students over the extended holiday break.

One Visually Impaired (VI) teacher at Frenship was inspired to help students through her son, who was born with cataracts. She, and her part-time colleague, instruct 20 VI students across the district.

Chelsey Cook, counselor at Heritage Middle School, is preparing for the future to help students cope with the effects and anxieties that have been brought about by COVID-19.

The mentor program at FHS is made up of more than 100 students who serve elementary and middle school students across 11 campuses. The mentors each have two mentees, and in some cases more!

Lonnie Kuss has been a well-known name at Frenship for many years. Some may know him as Coach Kuss, Mr. Kuss, or even Assistant Principal Kuss. But what many don’t know is that Lonnie Kuss is also an award winning musician.

“Fruits of our Labor” is a program that began at FMS about two years ago. What started as an idea to immerse students with the SERVE model, turned into a program that recognizes students for specific things they do that exemplify the Frenship Way.

As a passionate and dedicated educator and leader, fifth grade Dual Language teacher Robert Nunez was selected as Frenship's nomination for the 2021 LCU Distinguished Educator of Lubbock County award.

Earlier this week, Stephani Campbell, Behavior Intervention Specialist, sent out a newsletter to teachers and staff with useful tips on dealing with holiday behaviors in the classroom. The newsletter was full of ways to keep students engaged as well as resources for teachers to use for additional assistance.
