FMS Students Show Unity Can’t Be Broken

Frenship Middle School students poured their time and energy into a creating a quarter of a mile long red paper chain to be put on display in front of their school. The purpose of the red paper chain was to symbolize this year’s theme – “Life is a Journey, Travel Drug Free” – showing that FMS is drug-free together as a team, school and community.

They will be submitting the picture into The National Family Partnership 2018 Red Ribbon Week Photo Contest.

“They’ve had more fun doing this than anything we’ve done,” said Chelsea Bohannon, FMS Counselor.

Students gathered outside to hold up the 1,300-foot chain as a symbol that they’re united in the effort to be drug-free.
