Frenship is thrilled to welcome Ronald Sanders to the Frenship Family. Sanders spent the last 12 years teaching and coaching across various schools in West Texas. Most recently, he taught social studies and served as the Defensive Coordinator in Sudan, TX.
“Ending up at Frenship ISD was a God thing. Things lined up the way they were supposed to,” said Sanders. “The people in the district are incredibly genuine and love what they do! Heritage Middle School has some incredible individuals on its campus; they do an excellent job with the students they serve.”
Sanders was born and raised in Lubbock and graduated from Lubbock Monterey High School. He is a proud Red Raider fan and graduated from Texas Tech in 2011. Before entering the education field, Sanders felt a calling to serve and give back to his country.
“During college, I felt the need to serve my country and joined the Texas Army National Guard. I spent six years in the guard and completed a tour in Iraq from 2008-2009,” said Sanders.
Being a life-long learner is something that Sanders values. He holds four master’s degrees and is currently working on his Doctorate degree in Education. He is married to his wife, Paige, a 4th grade math teacher at a local school district, and they have a daughter, Zylie, who will be in the 6th grade this fall at Heritage Middle School.
“The thing that I am most excited about is learning! This will be my first year as an administrator, and I am excited to learn from some of the best this area has to offer,” said Sanders.
Frenship ISD is looking forward to having Ron Sanders on the Heritage Middle School administration team. Welcome to the Frenship Family, Ron!
