The projects earning awards cover a wide range of mediums including print and digital publications, videos, graphics, photos, and feature stories created by the Communications Department.
“I am so proud of this team and humbled by their continuous hard work and dedication to serving Frenship’s 11,500+ students, and 1,400 staff members,” said Tiffany Taylor, Frenship ISD Director of Communications and Community Engagement. “Every day, they come to work ready to highlight the amazing things happening at Frenship and these awards are a testament to their creativity, professionalism, and the high-quality work they produce year after year.”
Communications departments from across the state submit their projects for the annual TSPRA Star Awards to go head-to-head with some of the best communicators across the state. The Frenship Communications Department has a long history of excellence when it comes to the Star Awards, and this year was no different. During the 2024 Star Awards Banquet, the Frenship Team walked away with nine gold, three silver, and a Best of Category for a video.

During the state conference, the communications team also had the opportunity to participate in professional development, collaborate with other districts across Texas, and attend sessions pertaining to public education public relations.
"TSPRA is always a great opportunity to learn new ways to engage with our community, how we can enhance our staff and student appreciation events, and overall, just better serve our Frenship families," said Taylor.
