Frenship Middle School Welcomes New Assistant Principal

Whipkey grew up in Sudan, TX and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University. She is currently working on completing her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Prior to teaching at Frenship, Whipkey taught in Springlake-Earth, Lewisville and at Lubbock-Cooper. She began her career with Frenship at FMS teaching middle school math and has been with FISD for 17 years.

Whipkey says that even though this year will be challenging, she is confident that teachers and staff will always do what is best for students.  

I am looking forward to seeing how our staff grows our students academically, emotionally, and socially this year,” said Whipkey. “FMS is a great place to be and I am thrilled to be a part of such an amazing staff.”

Whipkey will serve as the Assistant Principal alongside AP Tim Reese under the leadership of Principal Casey Loafman. She and her husband Roger have two daughters, Reagan and Rylee, and are all Tigers. Roger is the girls’ golf coach at FHS, Reagan will be a sophomore at FHS and Rylee will be a seventh grader at Heritage MS.
