Middle School National History Day Competition Regional Results

Each year more than half a million students across the country participate in the National History Day Contest (NHD). Students choose a historical topic related to the annual theme and then conduct primary and secondary research. This is the first year seventh graders from all three Frenship middle schools competed.

Terra Vista Middle School One Act Play Takes Gold

After four months of rehearsals and practice, TVMS One Act Play performed “Oz” by Don Zolidis last Saturday. Out of seven other middle schools, Terra Vista won first place, as well as several individual awards for outstanding cast members.

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Frenship ISD staff members are still finding ways to continue growing as educational leaders through meaningful professional development training. This week, administrators, instructional coaches and content coordinators tuned in virtually to the NWEA MAP Users Conference to learn new techniques to use in the classrooms.

Fifth Grade Parent Meeting

On Wednesday, March 3, Frenship Middle School, Heritage Middle School, and Terra Vista Middle School will host a parent meeting for all current fifth graders as they prepare to make the transition to middle school next year.

Frenship ISD to Offer Free Curbside Meals to Any Child

In an effort to help our community during this historic winter storm, Frenship ISD will offer free curbside meals to any child age 18 or younger on Friday, February 19.  All children are welcome regardless of what school district they attend.
